30-Day Yoga Challenge

I'm an elliptical-running, iron-pumping, kickboxing action junkie, but inspired by Anne Helen Peterson's love letter to hot yoga, I decided to see if it could break me out of my life/fitness/existential rut.  And if I could finally do crow pose! Truly I would be satisfied to only achieve the latter, and, since my arms don't straighten, both are a pretty tall order. The rules: (1) go to hot yoga classes as often as possible (without losing my job) for 30 days, since from what I've heard the key to allowing yoga to revolutionize your life is to do it as often as possible. (2) Only do my normal workout/go to my other classes when I cannot possibly make a hot yoga class.

Day 1: Sweat and Shame
Day 2: Throw Some Money at It
Day 3: Cojones
Day 4: Can't Stop the Signal
Day 5: And If Thy Arm Offend Thee, Cut It Off
Day 7: Hellooo Disco!
Day 9: Forgiveness Blows
Day 10: Beefin'
Day 11: Where the Boys Are
Day 17: Freak Show!
Day 22: Oh Come ON, Irene
Day 25: For Once. For Ever.
